Who Are We?
Founded by industry experts, Colin King and David Hewitson in 2011, Fenix Insight brings together many years’ experience in mine action, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and quality, environmental and safety management systems.
We are proud to have some of the industry’s leading technical specialists, developers and project managers working for us. The experience, capability and passion of our staff is the foundation of our success, alongside our results-driven ideals. With our exceptional team who are each individually experts in their fields, we’re committed to solving the difficult business challenges we face with our creative and collaborative strategic approach.
We advise and assist our clients from the broadest, top-level policy making, down to the most intimate technical detail, using evidence-based decision making, ISO principles and our bespoke digital resources to underpin all of our operations.
In 2021 Fenix Insight completed a 10-year project managing the landmine clearance of the Falkland Islands on behalf of the British Foreign Office. Since then we have doubled down on improving our ambitious software project, Fenix Insight Online. Having started it 4 years ago, it is designed to monitor conflict from a global level right down to the individual uses of weapons.
